This DIY Dimensional Letter Holiday Sign is easy to make and adds a ton of rustic charm to your Christmas Decor!
How to Make a Dimensional Letter Holiday Sign
This DIY "Joy" sign is a great addition to your holiday decor. It's easy to make but adds rustic charm to any space. With the limited supplies needed, it's inexpensive too! I can't decide if I like this one or my Glitter Wood Sign best!
Choose whatever scrapbook paper fits your decorating style or color scheme. It would even be adorable made with Christmas cards left over from last year 🙂
Once you have all your supplies, with dry time, it will take just over an hour to complete.
JOY Holiday Sign Supplies:
- Wood Sign {I found this 17" prefabricated one at Michael's, but you could easily make one from pallets or wood scraps}
- Dimension Letters
- Scrapbook Paper
- Wood Glue
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Sandpaper
- Mod Podge
- Brush
- Glue Stick
Step 1 -
Sand the wood sign to rough it up a bit, but this step is not necessary if you like the look of the sign as it is.
Step 2 -
Trace your dimensional letters on your scrapbook paper with a pencil and then cut them out. Glue the paper to your dimensional letters.
Step 3 -
Apply 2-3 coats of Mod Podge to the letters. Let dry for 15 minutes between coats. Sand down slightly after all 3 coats have been applied.
Step 4 -
Glue the dimensional letters onto the wood sign.
Step 5 -
Embellish if desired! Done!
Place your dimensional letter holiday sign wherever it fits best in your home. Let me know how yours turns out!
