Tip for Making Easter Puppy Chow
- Grab a Large Bowl: Mixing the cereal with the other ingredients (besides the powdered sugar) is easiest in a large bowl. Then, transfer to a large zipper bag for the final step of getting the mixture coated with powdered sugar.
- Plastic Bag: Yes, a large zipper bag is the easiest for mixing powdered sugar. It works well, and clean-up is a breeze.
- Big Batch: Make a big batch to eat, AND put it in your kid's Easter basket!
- Peanut Allergy? If you have a nut allergy, you can omit the peanut butter and increase the white chocolate to 12 ounces.

You can store Bunny Chow in a sealed container on the counter for about a week. Thus making it a great make-ahead recipe for the holiday.

Jenna Owens
This is such a fun snack mix for Easter! I wish I had some to munch on right now.
Nikki Frank-Hamilton
Erin, this is right up my alley! Chex cereals are gluten free, except for the wheat flavor. You can do so much with chex, alot of people who don't eat gluten use these in crusts or breading. I love chex. And I've pinned this to come back to while I'm in the grocery store, this is a must make! I can carry it with me on the go too, always looking for snacks to throw in my purse!
Debbie
Hi Erin, I've never seen a recipe like this before, but it certainly something I would nibble on. Peanut butter and chocolate work well together and although I have no idea what Chex cereal is, I'm sure Golden Grahams would work well too.
xx
Erin
Chex cereal is popular, but I don't eat it for much other than this munch 🙂 I think Golden Grahams would work well, too!
Ilka
