How to make Christmas Kabobs
Before you start, turn up the Christmas music and make sure to wash and dry your fruit.
Here’s how you make the strawberry and marshmallow Santas (aka Grinch Fruit Kabobs):
Step 1 - PREP YOUR FRUIT
First, peel and then cut your banana into thin slices. Next, cut the ends off of your strawberries.
Step 2 - ASSEMBLE
Now, take your toothpick and start by putting a grape on the end, add a banana slice, then a strawberry, and finish with a little mini marshmallow for a hat, and you’ve got Santa Kabobs that look oh, so cute!
Continue until you have enough fruit kabobs.
Here’s how to make the Banana Santa Skewers:
Step 1 - PREP YOUR FRUIT & MARSHMALLOWS
First, peel the bananas and cut them into thirds. Next, cut the ends off of your strawberries. Now, cut the large marshmallow into thirds.
Step 2 - ASSEMBLE
Now, take your toothpick and insert it through the banana. Ensure that the stick goes all the way through, and there is room to add the remaining ingredients.
Next, place a cut piece of marshmallow, add a strawberry by running the toothpick through it, and top it with a mini marshmallow.
Add a set of candy eyes and a red candy mouth.
Enjoy!
PRO TIP: If you would like, add a little frosting or melted chocolate to secure the candy in place.
Erin
Continue making until you have enough.
PRO TIP: If you’re taking your kabobs to a party and don’t want the bananas to be brown, try putting a little fresh lemon juice on them.

Veronica McLemore
What can you do keep the banana slices from browning while they sit?
Erin
Good question, Veronica. The kabobs are best if eaten fairly soon after making them. However, a trick would be try putting a tiny amount of lemon juice on the bananas, they should keep them from browning.
Lucy
These look great, do the bananas go brown?
Erin
Good question, Lucy. They should be eaten shortly after making them so they don't get brown. Or you could also place a little lemon on them so they don't go brown if it will be a longer time before they're eaten.
Carol
Love these little adorable finger foods!
