1 - 2scoops protein powder
½cupunsweetened plain almond milk(or 1⁄2 cup canned full fat coconut milk
½cupice cubes
½cupcherriesfresh or frozen
¼cupbaby spinach leavesoptional
2teaspoonssteviaoptional
¼teaspoonalmond extractoptional
2tablespoonsalmonds or almond butter
1tablespoonground flax seed
Instructions
Place all ingredients in the blender and add a tiny bit of water to create desired consistency.
Process/blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Notes
We like plain, unsweetened almond milk, but you can use sweetened if you prefer a sweeter smoothie. Vanilla-flavored almond milk is also very good in this recipe.
