For the tastiest and easiest dessert ever, make this Crock Pot Apple Dump Cake. You only need 4 ingredients for this no-fuss cake that tastes like freshly baked apple pie!
Take 2 cans of apple pie filling and spread them in the bottom of your crockpot.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the cake mix, cinnamon, pecans, and melted butter. Crumble the cake mix over the apple pie filling.
Place a double layer of paper towels on top of your slow cooker. Place the lid over the paper towel and make sure it is secure. (The paper towels will prevent condensation from dripping onto the cake)

Notes
Every model of the crockpot is a little different, so your cook time may vary. Our advice, watch the recipe closely the first time you make it, so you get a perfectly cooked cake. If your slow cooker runs hot, we recommend checking it after 1.5 hours.
To prevent the condensation from dripping on your cake and making it soggy, make sure to place towels between the crock and the crockpot lid.
If you have a nut allergy to work around, omit the pecans in the recipe.
For a delicious variation, readers mentioned how good it is if you use a spice cake mix.
