1 ¼cupsall-purpose flour
½teaspoonbaking soda
¼teaspoonsalt
½cup1 stick unsalted butter, softened
¼cupgranulated sugar
½cupfirmly packed brown sugarlight or dark
1egg
½teaspoonpure vanilla extract
½cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray pan with non-stick spray.
In medium bowl, combine four, baking soda and salt.
In large bowl, beat butter and sugars with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Press dough into pan cavities, filling ¾ full.
Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Allow to cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove and cool completely on cooling rack.
Dip in chocolate or add sprinkles for decorations.
Notes
Make sure you lightly press your batter into the pan before baking. This will ensure an evener top on your cookies after they're baked.
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container on the counter for a few days or kept in an airtight container in the freezer for up to three months.
If desired, embellish your cookies by dipping them into melted chocolate (colored or plain) and adding sprinkles.
